Music is an integral part of the life of Beck’s and it is found in many different forms, from choral to instrumental, from classical to contemporary, and all for the glory of God.
Children's Choir at Beck's Baptist Church

Our children’s choirs meet every Wednesday at 6:00 pm, and present special musical presentations at Christmas, in the Spring, and during worship services throughout the year.
Worship
Beck’s has two distinct services both designed to lead people in worship of our Lord.
Traditional Service
The sanctuary choir is the main choir that leads in worship during the 10:55 am service and during special services throughout the year. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 and presents major musical presentations at Christmas, Easter, and July Fourth.
Our Music Ministry also includes Men’s, and Senior’s Choirs who perform at various times and services during the year.
Contemporary Service
We have a contemporary service that begins at 8:30 am each Sunday led by our Praise Team. This service combines more contemporary music and instruments with teaching and casual atmosphere to create a worship service that feels like family. The dress is casual, but the worship is intentional.

Handbell Ensembles
Debbie Rice, the director of our handbell ministry, leads our nationally renown handbell choirs. The different choirs include the Joybells (children), the Richardson Memorial Ringers (adults), and the Rejoice Ringers (adult). For more information, visit the Handbell Ministry.

Youth Praise Team
The music and youth ministries are working to form a Youth Praise Team to lead in worship during the Wednesday Night Youth Meetings at 7:00. If you are interested in helping out with this, contact Clayton Carnall, Minister of Youth.
Instrumental Ensembles
Opportunities for instrumentalists are available with the Praise Team and in conjunction with the choir. We are seeking to build our instrumental music program at Beck’s. If you are interested in helping, contact John Gwaltney.
